Hey Jayleen,
Currently desktop traffic does still monetize at a much higher rate than mobile, so we wouldn’t suggest getting rid of the sidebar. We have plenty of blogs working with Mediavine that don’t have one, but having one, and the two ads that reside there, is still preferable for optimal earning.
