Hey Cheryl,
Simply try it – test a post on your site before you enable the mobile page speed stuff, then test the same URL again, to give you an idea of how much it would improve with the optimizations enabled. PageSpeed Insights will also give you suggestions on what else needs to improve with your theme. Enabling our mobile optimizations basically just means the ads get out of the way so that you can see what else needs work.

Just enabled Opt Ads, and my mobile page speed went from 28 to 70. That’s pretty amazing. Plan to watch how this affects RPMs. I need all the help I can get with SEO, so hoping it will pay off in the long run.
